I presented a session on “roles and responsibilities in XP team” to my client in Canada. This coincides well with the white paper I am writing. I stressed on the idea of self-disciplined team, difference between principal and proxy customers, roles of customer, lead customer, programmer, coach and project manager. I went over-time speaking for 90 minutes.
I had no power-point presentations. I learned this from Josh Kerievsky. In one of his XP courses I taught TDD in C++ using power point slides. It was lots of text and code in power point slides. Josh told me later that it was not that effective. Now, I avoid using power-point and use lots of games and simulations to keep the audience live.

Today marks my last day at Sciex, Canada. It has been one of the best companies I have worked for. It is bound to become the culture of excellence. The management, the team, everyone around is very keen on continuous improvement. I am happy that I could help. The people are very loving. All the three XP teams I coached were simply great.
